He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur "Bus" and Opal Ferrie (Johansen); his brother Gordy Gunderson; his parents-in-law, Roland (Whiz) and Rosalie Horner; and his brother-in-law Craig Horner.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn of Sioux Falls; his son Corey (Jennifer) of Minneapolis, MN; his siblings, Duane of LeMars, IA, Terrill Ferrie (Denise) of Sioux Falls, Kevin Ferrie (Sharri) of Sioux Falls, Geoff Gunderson (Erin) of Sioux Falls, Warren (Deb), Linda and Julie Gunderson; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Holmbeck, Julie Horner (Michael Valdieck) of Mazomanie, WI, Therese Horner, Mindy Horner of Sioux Falls, Jean Case (Dave) of Watertown, SD, Mary Ward (Dan) of Bryant, SD and Scott Horner (Nancy) of Corona, CA; and his pets, Benson and Bridget. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to the Humane Society.
