He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kroon and Grace Kroon (Kosters); his wife Sharon Kroon (Beek); his in-laws, Lorn and Mable Beek; his brother Del; and his sister-in-law Marlys Kroon.
He is survived by: his child Jody Nieuwendorp (Mark); his grandsons, Gerrit and Grant; his daughter Lisa Holtman (Shane); his grandchildren, LaRen and Lily; his brother Jerry Kroon (Peggy); his brother-in-law Sherwood Beek (Kristi); and his nieces and nephews, Kristie Kurtenbach (Terry), Julianna Bjorklund, Kara Manuel (Tom), Dean Kroon (Dani), Jen Pesavento (Paul), Geoffrey Beek (Pharon), Jamison Beek (Lauren) and Sanna (Jon).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the First Reformed Church (4800 S Tomar Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
