Robert Earl Mathiesen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Robert Earl Mathiesen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Chamberlain, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mathiesen and Lura Belle Mathiesen (Lyke); his brother Wayne; and his wife Virgie. He is survived by: his brother Jim Mathiesen; his children, Gary Mathiesen (Diane), Rick Mathiesen (Janella), Kim Haldeman (Mark) and Jay Mathiesen (Jeanne); and his grandchildren, Carrie Santiago (John), Valerie Hubbard, Nicole Papke (Jason), Brad Greguson (Leslie), Jennifer Volzke (Will), Tony Mena, Michael Mena and Gordy Haldeman (Angie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to the First Lutheran Media Ministry or Project Car.
