It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Skiles of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Pipestone, Minnesota, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Ihlan and Marion Ihlan (Wilson); and her brother Bruce Ihlan. She is survived by: her husband Mike Skiles of Mary's Church; her children, Paul Skiles (Julie) of Sioux Falls, D. J. Skiles (Becky) of Sioux Falls and Kim Fitzgerald (Craig) of Garretson; her grandchildren, Coral, Hailey Skiles, Jacob, Jared, Lucas Fitzgerald, Cierra Revolorio (Daniel) and Macy Skiles; her sisters, Judy Tank (Jerry) of Lakeland, Joyce Hocke of Hudson and Kris Snapper (Bob) of Sioux Falls; and her friend Debbie Halouska. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
