She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Matilda and Harold Elester Hale; her husband Robert Elmen; and her brother-in-law Jim Elmen. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda (Dan Ordal), Sarah (Bob Kopp) of Sioux Falls and Julie (Ken Gruys) of Truckee, CA; her grandchildren, Chris Ordal, Erik Ordal, Emily Ordal, Kjerstin Gruys Ackermann, Hanna Gruys Setrakian, Peter Gruys, Alex Kopp, Sadie Kopp and Julia Kopp; her great grandchild Oskar Gruys Ackermann; and her sister-in-law Betty Sass (Wayne). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
