As we bid Rita Arlene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rita Arlene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Geilenfeldt and Martha Geilenfeldt (Wetzel); her husband George Kent Kane; and her siblings, Louis Geilenfeldt, Ruth Ristau and LaVon Winters.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Kane (Robyn); her granddaughters, Brittany Kane of Denver, CO and Alexandra Kane of Las Vegas, NV; and her niece Linda Iverson (Gary) of Albert Lea, MN..
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
