With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Vermeulen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Vermeulen and Wilma Vermeulen; his brother Tom Vermeulen; and his pet Mocha. He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his sons, Tim (Amy) of Rapid City, Kevin (Lynne) of Mitchell, Chad of Athens, GA and Dustin (Tina) of Chandler, AZ; his grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Trever (Melissa), Kadee, Maloree, Luke and Ava; his siblings, Shirley Northrup (Harry), Mary Jo McGraw (Terry), Ron Vermeulen (Lynette) and Gary Vermeulen (Maxine); and his sister-in-law DeeAnn Vermeulen. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Due to the current pandemic, the family will hold a memorial service and celebration of life at a later date, so all of Richard's loved ones are able to attend.
