He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Sweeney and Edith Sweeney; and his brothers, John and Donald Sweeney. He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Steele and Sondra Titze (Karl); and his siblings, Merlin Sweeney (Vivian), Bob Sweeney (Emelda), Mary Van Sickle (Jim) and Dorothy Nelson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
