He is survived by: his wife Mavis Petersen of Sioux Falls; his sisters, Connie Davis of Des Moines and Donna Hollister (Lorren) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his sons, Eric Petersen, Christopher Petersen, Bryce Petersen and Bryan Petersen; his aunt Charlotte Aten of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his granddaughters, Cayden Petersen and Laci Petersen; and his close friend Devin Draper of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Iowa; step-children and step-grandchildren.
