He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Geske and Irene Geske (Schultz); his siblings, Lyle Geske, Dale Geske and Esther Schmidt; and his brothers-in-law, Doug Schmidt and Dennis Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ling; his children, Tom Geske (Susan) of Marshall, MN and Winnie Barber (Bill Bornitz) of Marshall, MN; his stepchildren, Brenda Dunlap (Bill) of Davie, FL, Shari Carter (Duane) of Weston, FL and Ryan Ling (Chrissy) of Sioux Falls; and his siblings, Ina Geske, Wayne Geske (Olga Thomsen), Naomi Polzin (Robert), Patrick Geske (Janice), Ronald Geske (Claire), Cynthia Steinbeisser (Robert), Glenn Geske and Nelia Gary. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
