He is survived by: his sister Mildred Szczerbak (Richard) of Cleveland, Ohio.; his children, Kelly Umstott of Sioux Falls, Renee Leahy (Kevin Jr.) of Cleveland Ohio and Richard Hogle of Cleveland, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Daniel Hankle (Cassi) of Sioux Falls, Eddie Umstott (Aspen) of Hyattsville, MD, Derrick Umstott of Sioux Falls and Kelsey Umstott of Sioux Falls; and his great grandchildren, Jaden, Addison, Kynlee, Emery and Rylynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
