With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Barrett of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Barrett and Marguerite Barrett; his brother Tom Barrett; and his stepdaughter Teresa Small. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Barrett; his sister Jane Schavee (Bob); his children, Terri Meyer (Tony Kocak) and Jim Barrett (Joan); his stepchildren, Mari Dysart, Lori Stern, Gail Johansen (Eric), Jim Schoeberl (Lollene) and Stacey Ostlund (Jeff); and his son-in-law Donovan Small. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
