With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Abbott of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Abbott and Aritta Abbott (Kane); his wife Phyliss; his brothers, William Abbott and John Abbott; his sons-in-law, Douglas Hagen and Michael Hoeg; and his parents-in-law, Inez and Robert Dahlin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Hagen, Wanda Collins (Mike), Cynthia Abbott and Deana Hoeg-Ryan (John); his brother Thomas Abbott (Genevieve); and his sister-in-law Caryl Abbott. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
