It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond George Bender of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Scotland, South Dakota, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Raymond George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Raymond George's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne (Schlechter); and his children, Wayne and LuAnn. He is also survived by five granddaughters, three great grandsons, six great granddaughters.
