He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Faragher and Minnie Faragher; his wife Phyllis Akkerman; and his siblings, Daryl and Darlene.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Roxie) and Brad (Linda); his granddaughter Robin; and his sister Gwen. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Instead of flowers, memorials can be made to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society.
