It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray A. Laurila of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Laurila and Alma Laurila (Erickson); his wife Verna; his son David Laurila; his great grandchild Sophia Laurila; and his siblings, Verle Laurila and Leonora Yoder.
He is survived by: his son Don Laurila (Lorie) of Sioux Falls, SD; his daughter-in-law Marlene Laurila of Santa Cruz, CA; his granddaughter Annie Morris (Danny); his great grandchildren, Jackson and Peyton of Santa Cruz, CA; his grandchildren, Ben Laurila of Santa Cruz, CA and Jessica Kluck (David); his great grandchildren, Ava and Soren of Moorhead, MN; his grandson Tim Laurila (Elli); his great grandchildren, Samuel and Henry of Moorhead, MN; his grandchildren, Kevin Laurila of Sioux Falls, SD and Jenny Grefe (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Jack and Tanner of Wausau, WI.
