He is survived by: his spouse Kena Schaaf; his children, Keni Nelson, Kade Nelson of Sioux Falls, Kylin Nelson of Sioux Falls and Kayler Ridl (Austin) of Sioux Falls; his brother Jeff Nelson (Chris) of Brandon; his mother-in-law Susan Schaaf of Sioux Falls; his nieces, Heather Crosby (Brian), Addison Schaaf and Ellorie Schlagel; and his nephew Dan Nelson (Amber).
