With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph W Redenius of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Hobart Redenius; his grandchildren, Amy, Kenny Ray and Dustin John; his parents, Joe Redenius and Nellie Redenius (Richards); and his siblings, Joe, John, George, Roger and Pearl Lewin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gordon (Geppert); his children, Susan Sudtelgte (Joe) of Elkton, SD, Dennis Redenius of Sioux Falls, SD, Donnis Redenius (Becky) of Pipestone, MN, Scott Redenius (Melody) of Disputanta, VA, Tim Redenius of Golconda, NV, Cheri Frederickson (Dalton) of Sheridan, WY and Bill Redenius (Mary) of Choctaw, OK; and his stepsons, Scott Gordon (Jennifer) of Rapid City, SD and Dave Gordon of Sioux Falls, SD.. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ralph's memory to a charity of your choice.
