He is survived by: his friend Robb Rasmussen; his former wife Teresa Taylor; his children, John DeBoer of Pierre, SD and Norah Grace DeBoer of Sioux Falls, SD; his brother Tom DeBoer (Sherry) of Chaska, MN; his niece Adrienne Fox (Scott); his nephews, Pete Anderson (Lisa) and Nick DeBoer (Maryam); and his close friends, Bob Garrigan and Charlie McIntyre.
Instead, they wish to direct memorial donations to the Avera Dougherty Hospice House.
