He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Phyllis; his siblings, Fred Clarey, John Clarey and Laurel Muillenburg; and his niece Katie Clarey.
He is survived by: his sons, Adam Clarey and Nathan Clarey; his spouse Pamela Carlsen; his grandchildren, Jaycee, Ethan and Haley Clarey; his great grandchild Julien Ryan; and his siblings, Mike Clarey (Kathie), Cathy Birns, Edward Clarey, Howard Clarey, Joe Clarey and Holly Broderick.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given as Mass offerings.
