She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Pesicka and Catherine Pesicka; and her husband Duane Nordquist of Beresford, SD.. She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Hoppe (Mike) of Wake Forest, NC, Linda Kuhn (Jeff) of Winona, MN, Rita Briese (Randy) of Harrisburg, SD, Darryl Nordquist (Tracy) of Sioux Falls and Gary Nordquist (Anne); her siblings, Ruby Verley of Sioux Falls and Norman Pesicka of Laguna Niguel, CA; and her sister-in-law Lucille Nordquist of LaBolt, SD. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

“Your mom and dad were two of the greatest people I was proud to say I was related to. They were only two of four people (aunts/uncles) I spoke to on the Pesicka side of the house. When I was stationed at Grand Forks, ND, you all came to visit me and that is something I have never forgotten. I know how hard it is to have both your parents gone. For me, its over 20 years.
