He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nebben and Anna Nebben (Haugen); his wife Ruth Michel; his siblings, Art, Olaf, Annette Steinborn, Laura Knudson, Luella Knudson and Dorothy Plummer; and his son-in-law Daryl Wussow.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Wussow of Sioux Falls and Larry (Lois) of Wentworth, SD; his grandchildren, Angie Schlenker (Gary), Chris Nebben, Amy Morrison (Adam), Stacey Nelson (Erik) and Zach Nebben (Katie); his great grandchildren, Sami Schlenker, Natalie Nebben, Jakob and Joey Morrison; and his sisters, Hilda Johnson of Dell Rapids and Rosetta Croon of Dell Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
