He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayme Ewing (Mowery) and J. I. Ewing. He is survived by: his close friend Sheila Christman; his sisters, Iris Glenn (Jim) and Mary Ewing Thorpe (Rolland); his nieces, Megan Glenn and Christine Hjelman (Bryan); his nephew John Glenn; his great-niece Payton Hjelman; and his great-nephew Quinton Hjelman.
