He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buysman and Flora Buysman (Elgersma); and his siblings, Harold Buysman (Helen) and Helen Van Engen (George). He is survived by: his wife Tina Van Engen; his children, Iris Jean Slama (David) and Marvin James Buysman (Cherie) of Lincoln, NE; his sisters, Joyce Meyer (Garrett) of Worthington, MN and Evelyn Runia; his sister-in-law Mina Van Kley; his grandchildren, Brooks Slama, James Slama (Renee) of Mission Viejo, CA, Andrew Slama (Summer) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jordan Slama (Meg) and Lexa Wright of Sioux City, IA; and his great grandchildren, Kira, Kai, Klein and Chloe. He is also survived by sister and Tina's brother, their double in-laws.
