With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Matthies (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Brandon, South Dakota, who passed away on November 10, 2019 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Severson and Olga Severson (Pearson); her husband Ron Matthies; her daughter Ronell; and her siblings, Edna O'Neal, Millie O'Neal, Lollie O'Neal, Edith Hall, Myron, Howard, Norman and Russell Severson.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Clark of Valley Springs and Joel Matthies of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Aaron Clark (Jo) of Larchwood, IA, Kala Clark-Crawford (Blake) of Beaver Creek, MN and Dustin Matthies (Chellsy) of Aurora, SD; her great grandchildren, Tessa, Brea, Ella, Maddex and Abel; her siblings, Betty Bondora of Rapid City and John Severson of Sioux Falls; and her close friends, Rod and Maria Watkins of Sydney, Australia..
