Nelda Lou Vellek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Lou Vellek of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Paul and Lila Paul; her husband Leo Vellek; her grandson Terry Jr.; and her sister Beverly Winter.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Castro (Larry) of Oceanside, CA and Terry Vellek (Vickie) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Marissa Castro of Oceanside, CA, Matt Vellek (Meegan) of Elkhorn, NE and Mark Vellek of Sioux Falls, SD; her great grandchildren, Camden, Carsen and Cohen Vellek of Elkhorn, NE; her sisters, Shirley Wiese (Bob) and Lila Rae Jamison; her sister-in-law Hattie Vellek; and her close friend April. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Congregational Church and Children's Home Society.
