He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dwayne Atkins, Marson Metzger and Marie Metzger. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph J Metzger (Cheryl) of Florida and Sharon Metzger (Atkins) of Tea; his wife Amy Metzger (Kyte); his children, Isaiah, Hannah, Jayda, Caleb, Ronan and Gabriel; his siblings, Rachael Junck (Tom) of Sioux Falls, Jason Metzger (Timea) of Sioux Falls, Carrie Kunkel (Eric) of Virginia, Lizzie Hernandez (Sam) of Florida and Emily Kolstad (Charles) of Florida; and his grandmother Jerene Atkins of Tea. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family, for the care of their six young children, are requested.
