She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Skaien and Genev Skaien (Rude); her brother David Skaien; and her brother-in-law Wally Waldroup. She is survived by: her husband Michael Hansen; her children, Geoff Hansen (Nicola), Geni Domagala, Genetta Wehrspann (Ted) and Gretchen Hansen; her grandchildren, Logan (JJ), Dalton, Emma, Charlee, Tim and Pat; her great grandchild Kayson; her sister Mary Pedersen; her sister-in-law Sharon Skaien; and her pets, Winky and Mittens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. John American Lutheran Choir, Project Car, or REACH Literacy.
