With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myron Thomas Torgerson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in De Smet, South Dakota, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Torgerson and Minnie Torgerson (Thorson); and his siblings, Alan, Maynard Torgerson and Shirley Smythe.
He is survived by: his children, Myron "Gene" Torgerson, Nancy Bartscher (Leon), Monty Torgerson (Kristie), Tange Ladhani (Dilip), Philip Torgerson (Jennifer), Jay Torgerson (Jessica Hiles), Deb Stansbury (Jack) and Darrell Schuur; his siblings, Lucille Thompson, Edwin Torgerson (Jilane) and Helmer "Ole" Torgerson (Kathryn); and his sister-in-law Rose Torgerson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
