He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maurice Weicht and Joyce Weicht (Jones); his former wife Linda Avery; his wife Kim; his children, Robbie Weicht (Britnia) and Cassie Waters; and his siblings, Kimberly Hanson Carter (Ed), Lynn Muller (Don), Clay Hanson, Chad Weicht and Jamie.
