He was predeceased by: his parents, John Darby and Edna Darby; and his siblings, John Darby, James Darby, Ronald Darby, Helen Borden and Fern Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Darby (Jan) and Dawn Forbes (Jeff); his grandchildren, Cory Carpenter, Linnea Darby, Olivia Darby and Mya Darby; and his siblings, Donald Darby, Marcella Cummings, Meril (Phyllis Tschudy), Marlys (Ron Rauk) and Joyce (Harold Van Der Wilt). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
