We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Merlin D. Kock of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Dena; his stepfather Ernest Merry; his siblings, Gerald Kock (Jean), Joanne Limmer Gagnon (Darwin Limmer) and Lyvonne Yeigh; his sister-in-law Janet Kock; and his nieces, Denise Finnell and Lisa Limmer.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Sioux Falls; his children, Heather Kock (Heather Cain) of Sioux Falls and Shawn Kock of Seattle, WA; and his siblings, Judy Finnell (Don) of Lennox, Gloria Bidwell (Warren) of New Ulm, MN and Richard Kock of Madison, SD.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (3300 E 18th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to Ava's House Hospice.
