He was predeceased by: his parents, R. J. Hinton (Jerry) and Jeannine Hinton (Nelson); his former wife Janell Fish; and his nephew Nathaniel Hinton. He is survived by: his wife Jody Monroe of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepchildren, Justin Cole (Abby Wagenaar) and Angela Vera (Cole); his brother-in-law Gordon Kenyon; and his brothers, Mark Hinton (Connie) of Clarion, IA and Mike Hinton (Elaine) of Lady Lake, FL. He is also survived by two step-grandsons and four step-granddaughters.
