It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merle Arthur Johnson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Augustana (Sharon Frank); his children, Mary Lynne Johnson, Reed Johnson and Amy Ellis (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Cassidy, Grace, Thomas and Xavier; and his sister Margery Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or Improvements at USF Sports Complex.
