It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max G. Dreier of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dreier and Hilda Dreier (Wolf); and his daughter Nancy Zwiebel. He is survived by: his wife Carol Dreier of Sioux Falls, SD; his son Gerald Dreier (Elizabeth) of Poland, Ohio; his son-in-law Michael Zwiebel; his grandchildren, Andrea Dreier, Alissa Padovano (Michael), Jane Mary Dreier, Jennifer Dagg (Joseph), Adam Zweibel and Brenden Zweibel; his siblings, Alice Bowersox of Elliston, Ohio and Wayne Dreier of Columbus, Ohio; and his stepchildren, Joyce Saabye (Peter), Kevin Ballard (Cheryl), Kenneth Ballard (Janet) and Jeff Ballard (Kay). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Avera Prince of Peace Sacred Heart Chapel (4513 Prince of Peace Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Avera Prince of Peace Sacred Heart Chapel, Sioux Falls (4513 Prince of Peace Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (3601 E Dudley Ln, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
