It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Smith of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson (Tracy); her husband Harold Leon Smith; her children, Thomas, David Smith and Patricia Miller; her grandson D. Josh Steiner-Smith; and her brother Dan Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Smith (Barb) of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan Smith of Sioux Falls, SD, Mark Smith of Sioux Falls, SD, Loren Smith of Huron, SD, Francis Smith of Brandon, SD and Ronald Smith of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings, Robert Nelson and Cathy Hoffman; her half-brother Allen Nelson; and her son-in-law Steve Miller.
