He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Holmstrom and Lenora Holmstrom (Wasswick); his wife Barbara DeGraaf; his sons, Donald and Randy Holmstrom; his siblings, Larry, Kenneth Holmstrom and Shirley Michaelson; his brothers-in-law, Ed Thistle and Bill McMaster; and his niece Lisa McMaster.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Holmstrom of Denver, CO, Russell Wilka (Carol) of Owensville, MO, Deb Wilka of Atlanta, GA and Terri Fiferlick (Gene) of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Colleen Birkeland (Stan) of Sioux Falls, Kathy McMaster of Sioux Falls, Prudence Thistle of Gardena, CA, Delores Johnson (Murdeen) of Sioux Falls, Vernon Holmstrom (Nancy) of Henderson, NV and Gerald Holmstrom (Nancy) of Red Bud, IL; and his brother-in-law Gene Michaelson of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
