She was predeceased by: her parents, David Engbrecht and Tena Engbrecht (Duerksen); her husband Johnny J. Hofer; her grandson Jay Wetzel; and her siblings, Marvin Engbrecht, David Engbrecht and Viola Schuler.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Janzen (Harvey) of Munich, ND, Lois Wetzel (Clyde) of New Salem, ND and Marlin Hofer of Beaverton, OR; her grandchildren, BethAnn Ullyott (David), John Janzen (Patricia), Lisa Taylor (Cory) and Sara Coffin (Nathan); and her siblings, Ben Engbrecht of Sioux Falls, Esther Ratzlaff of Colorado Springs, CO, Ann Scarff of Wayland, IA, Melvin, Emma Hofer, Sam and Lois Hofer.
