She was predeceased by: her parents, Katharine Bromley and Ralph Bromley; her son Daryl Root; her husband Orlando; her son-in-law Joseph Pronobis; and her siblings, Daniel, David, John, Howard Bromley, Dorothy Keimig, Mary Sarratt, Katherine Blakely and Darlene Schuler.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Katharine, Connie Jean, Joy Ann and Darlene Gail; her daughters, Mary K. Root (Randy Sorgdrager), Connie Root-Pronobis, Dr. Joy Snell (Steve) and Darlene Fick (Michael); her grandchildren, Dr. Nichole Cauwels (Tom), Robert Sorgdrager (Brenda), Amber Pettman (Mike), Sarah Fick, Jeb Snell, Kendra Calvin (Gage) and Nancy Snell; and her great grandchildren, Andrea Poole, Cassidy Poole, Cooper Cauwels, Eliot Cauwels and Casey Sorgdrager. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
