She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary and Julius; her son Kenneth Medema; her siblings, Janelle Severson and Daniel Mueller; and her son-in-law Glen Hurst.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Medema; her children, Kristine Hurst of Canton, SD, Shelley Schuver (Tim) of Sioux Falls, SD and Don Medema (Glenda) of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sister Dixie Rons (Duane) of Morrison, CO. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
