She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peterson and Clara Peterson (Winberg); her husband Bill; her grandsons, Tige and Lee; her great grandchild Jaxson; and her siblings, Don, Burnell Peterson and Lorraine Hall.
She is survived by: her family, James Sullivan, Nancy Sullivan, Kathleen Sullivan, William Sullivan and Sharon Sullivan; her children, Karrie Viereck (Stephen) and Kelly; her adoptive son Roger Anderson; and also, Onica, Justin (Sabina), Renee Van Dyke (Riley), Krissy, Zack and Ryan.
Fundamental to all else, this Christian Foundation was the key to a successful life. She also lent her talents to many boards including Volunteers of America Foundation, Children's Home Society, Children's Inn, Central Church, South Dakota Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Sioux Falls.
