She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Brewer and Irene Brewer; her husband Merrell Leroy Holbrook; her daughter Rose Sistanich (Larry); her siblings, Maxine Miller (Cliff), Betty Campbell (Gene), Luetta Feekes and Leroy Brewer (Pat); her son-in-law Spencer Pitts; and her great grandchild Nero James Tuttle.
She is survived by: her sister Lorraine Breen (George) of Baltic; her children, Deborah Lichtenberg (Mike) of Tea, Merrell L. Holbrook, Jr. of Dell Rapids, Karen Pitts of Sioux Falls, Leanna Tuttle of Sioux Falls, James Holbrook (Inge) of Manhattan, KS, Richard Holbrook of Sioux Falls and Ronda Minck (Jim) of Lennox; and her son-in-law Larry Sistanich. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the The Salvation Army (800 N Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
