He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Stensland and Leone Stensland (Hove); his wife Ardyce Miller Johnson; his daughter Barbara Rae Bussey; his granddaughter Kim Ramse; and his children-in-law, Annie Stensland and William "Red" Bussey.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hoefert (Jim), Gary Johnson (Carol), Parker, Terry Johnson (Connie), Brad Stensland (Lisa) and Jeff Stensland. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
