It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Determan of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Bridgewater, South Dakota, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Determan and Dorothy Determan (Huisman); his wife Lorraine Phelps; his daughter Jackie Cole; and his siblings, Cleo Determan, Danny Determan, Richard Determan, Eudora Vanderboom and JoAnn Surrell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill McPherson (Ron) of Sioux Falls, Jan Nelson (John Maglothin) of Sioux Falls and Connie Crossan (Kim) of Columbia, SD; his grandchildren, Shannon Cole, Shawn Ebdrup (Dennis), Kelly Castillo (Oscar), Josh Koch (Tracy), John McPherson (Jenna), Matt McPherson (Angie), Aileen Winters (Justin), Robert Crossan (Stella), Chris Crossan (Cali), Evan Nelson (Nancy), Rachel Rounds (Travis) and Ben Nelson (Katie); his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Shelby, Libby, Cali, Jayden, Carlos, Aracely, Tyler, Mason, Amara, Justin, Max, Dillon, Micah, Isaiah, Cohen, Riggs, Connor, Hunter, Addie, Joe and Jack; and his sisters, Jan Wegner of Sioux Falls and Phyllis Hildebrand of Sioux Falls.
