Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lois Oppold of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Doon, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 99, on August 8, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Linton and Alva Linton (Hodge); her husband Bernard Paul Oppold (Harrisburg); her siblings, Clare, Lowell, Walter "Bud", Leonard and Francis; her daughters, Jacqueline, Rosemary, Marsha and Teresa (Benson); her sons-in-law, Marvin Bossman, Steve Frislie and Roger Benson; and her grandsons, Benjamin Becker and Gary Ericson.
She is survived by: her mother-in-law Sophia; her children, Dianne Bossman of Sioux Falls, SD, Pamela Richards (Scott), Jill Oppold of Montrose, SD, Paulette Frislie of Canton, SD, Kathy Becker (Steve) of Sioux Falls, SD and Todd Oppold (Yvonne); her sister-in-law Erma Linton of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandchildren, Heidi Ericson, Jamen Benson (Jackie), Jennifer Reecy (Mike), Hope Carlson, Mike Slack (Karolina), Janelle Sikora (Andrew), Eve Langerock (Scott), Bobbi Becker, Alex Oppold, Chelsey Warner (Matt), Emma Oppold, Jon Garrett and Mattea Oppold. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Because of Covid-19 family and friends are requested to wear masks and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers memorials maybe directed to St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
