Hallem of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Murdo, South Dakota, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Boyle and Mae Boyle (Brookey); her husband Paul Hallem; her siblings, Mary Lanctot (Robert), Cleo McCarthy (Maynard), Agatha Thomas (Warren) and Robert Boyle (Jean); her daughter-in-law Barbara Hallem; and her grandson Rob Roach.
She is survived by: her children, Christine, Jeffrey, Kathryn, Chris Nielsen (David) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff Hallem (Darlene) of Pierre, SD, Karen Bergeson (Mark) of Plymouth, MN, Jon Hallem, Port St and Kathy Schroeder (Mark) of Sioux Falls, SD.; her grandchildren, Lori Havard (Kelly), Amy Nielsen (Alfred Sifunjo), Emily Wiederich (David), Mary Blindert (Joshua), Sheryl Roesler (Don), Alan Berheim (Jackie), Melissa Haaland (Troy), Ty Bergeson, Grant Bergeson, Kelly Kennedy (Anthony), Nikki Rodriguez (Rafael), Kayla Hakari (John) and Kyle Schroeder (Bailey); her granddaughter-in-law Kelly Roach Coffman (Rich); and her great grandchildren, Tyler Havard (Madelin), Ethan Havard, Alayna Havard, Mara Havard, Josephine Sifunjo, Colin Wiederich, Dylan Wiederich, Ella Wiederich, Gavin Blindert, Adalynn Blindert, Wesley Blindert, Jaylon Blindert, Joshua Berheim, Brandon Berheim, Kaden Roach, Kaleb Roach, Grace Coffman, Connor Haaland, Taylor Haaland, Aubrey Kennedy, Owen Rodriguez and Nora Rodriguez. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials be directed to St. Vincent de Paul Society or a charity of their choice.
