With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Anna Skallerud of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Nohrenberg and Anna Nohrenberg (Tesch); her husband Raymond Skallerud; and her siblings, Orville (Jeanette Nohrenberg), Linnia Nohrenberg (Opal), Walter Larson (Annetta), Ray Larson (Ardis), Roger Ellefson (Elaine) and Richard Dwire (Roger Johnson).

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Thiner of Sioux Falls; her sister Ardell Johnson of Duluth, MN; her granddaughters, Natasha Thiner and Rachel Lewis; and her grandson-in-law Stephen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Faith Lutheran Church.
