She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Adam Kappes and Katie Kappes (Gross); her husband Ervin Rau; her children, Pam Seefeldt (Marshall) of Clark, SD, Randy Rau (Kate Palzer) of Glenrock, WY and Jenny Nelson (Neal) of Sisseton, SD; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Heidi Seefeldt, Andrea, Brook Begeman, Zach, Jordan Seefeldt, Cedric, Lexi Seefeldt, Ross, Aubrey Nelson and Lana Nelson of Minneapolis, MN; her stepgrandchildren, Eddie Palzer of Seguin, TX and Dominique Taylor of Ruidoso; her sister Francis Lehr of Ashley, ND; her siblings-in-law, Ella Hoffman of Eureka, SD, Lorraine Rau of Phoenix and Alvin Rau of Grand Rapids, Michigan.; her granddaughter Sonja Nelson; and her siblings, Delores Kumpf, Reuben Kappes and Raymond Kappes. She was also cherished by three children, Lila was a stay-at-home mom.
