He is survived by: his former wife Charlotte Mae Conway; his wife Joyce Carpenter (Pope) of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Scott Carpenter (Linda) of Sioux Falls, SD and Sheri Jennings (Shawn) of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepchildren, Donald Adler (Mary) and Debra Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Jesse, Jaron Anderson and Cory Carpenter; his great grandchild Kyrie Carpenter; and his sister Hazel Campbell of Chevy Chase, MD.
