He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Lisa Kopecky (Lon) of Lincoln, NE, Mari (Paul), Fischer of Brookings, SD, Gina Mehlhaff of Sioux Falls, SD, Dan Mehlhaff (Deb) of Mitchell, SD and Matthew Ferguson (Denise) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Landon, Lance, Lawson Kopecky, Isaac, Summer, Fischer, Macy, Elly, Myles Mehlhaff, Blake, Evelyn and Emeline Ferguson; his brother Lennis Mehlhaff (Judy); his nephews, Timothy Mehlhaff (Jane) and Jeff Mehlhaff (Becca); his niece Tiffany Horstman (Seth); and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Haaland (Terry), Deborah Harrison (Lee), Sandy Kuhns (Dave), Thomas (Teresa) and James Ferguson (Sherrie).
